2010 Concert Season Schedule
This winter, Banditos had its proudest moment as a concert venue. Badlandia, a live album by Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons which was recorded right here last August, was released. We couldn’t be more pleased to be a part of it. The sound is top notch, the songs sparkle and it’s a great snapshot of what has become somewhat of a legendary weekend here in Southwest Montana. Pick up a copy, you will not be disappointed. Purchase Badlandia CD
Here's a Jambase review of the 3-day Jerry Joseph fest from last August at Banditos which became the Badlandia album . It's a great review of a great series of shows...worthy of the bands "favorite place to play in the world."

The Dave Walker Band
Dave, aka “the voice”, lives in Virginia City and we are proud to call him one of our own. The man is a legend having played in the Savoy Brown Blues Band, Fleetwood Mac, and Black Sabbath but he does not rest on his laurels. His band brings the heat with their hard charging, original blues rockers.

The Staxx Brothers
Come ready to get down to some Hard Ass Soul, hailing from Seattle the brothers bring the funk and then some! Here’s what Dennis Cook had to say after seeing them (and we trust Dennis)...
“Staxx Brothers proved the closest thing to vintage Funkadelic I’ve ever witnessed, right down to the janky thrift store costumes and impolite wilding. A huge mob on stage, they’ve imbibed whatever elixir Bootsy, George and Bernie swallowed back in the day, getting up there and proudly playing rump rattlin’ cartoons and then backing it up with whomping good musicianship and tunes you gotta be dead to resist...
Hope to see you there.

Studebaker John and the Hawks The Chicago blues return to VC! Studebaker John combines the harp sounds of Little Walter with the slide guitar prowess of Elmore James. His powerful vocals are the cream on top. Rest assured this is no tribute act. Studebaker John certainly isn’t a retro man recycling worn out standards. He makes original music that is both timeless and relevant.
Come on down for the last show of the year and get your dose of the blues!
9:30pm, $10 at the door.

The Banditos Concert Scene
At Banditos, we love live music as much as we love great food.
The first concerts we brought in were just so we wouldn’t have to go the summer without seeing some great live music. It didn’t take long for us to realize that other locals desired quality shows as well. So we’ve continued to bring great touring and select local bands to Virginia City.
The music we bring in spans the genres- from hip hop to bluegrass, from afrobeat to rock’n’roll. The common denominator between them all is original music from the soul, genres be damned.
The venue (or maybe it’s the great food we feed them before the show) tends to bring out the best in the bands and our crowd.
Please come join us for a show at Banditos. Where else can you have a first class meal and catch an inspired live show in a ghost town?
Bands we’ve had in the past: Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, The Motet, Jeni Flemming Trio, Papa Mali, Eddie Shaw, Dubconcious, EightTrack Mind, I See Hawks in LA, Larry Keel, Albino, Aphrodesia, The Packway Handle Band, Eric McFadden Trio, The Gourds, The Reggae Cowboys, Richmond Fontaine . . .
